Who we are
Our publisher is a librarian, writer, jovialist, lifelong Star Trek fan and literary enthusiast originally from Montreal.
The Guardian of Forever was a fictitious character on the original Star Trek television series episode “City on the Edge of Forever.” Both machine and being, and neither, the Guardian offered passages back in time for travelers who had a story to research, an odyssey to tell, fellow travelers to meet. While visiting our website, enjoy this video from the original Star Trek series that shows the Guardian of Forever in action. (Video is copyright Paramount studios.)
Writer/editor John D.F. Black lauded the episode’s writing and described how it had enriched Star Trek:”In City on the Edge of Forever, Harlan [Ellison] brought… a literary quality to the characters that hadn’t been there before.” (Source = Star trek, the original series. / Season 1. Hollywood, CA : CBS DVD : Paramount Home Entertainment, ©2008-9.)
Inspired by the story of the Guardian of Forever and John D.F. Black’s appreciative statement about taking a good product and making it even better, we chose to launch a publishing company for writers who appreciate that extra element of added quality. Our imprint radiates memory, history, travel and adventure.
Our list of topics
